I start by understanding the problem before committing to a solution. Most briefs arrive with a solution already in mind. I prefer to step back, understand the problem, and make sure we're solving the right thing before moving forward.
I use research, stakeholder conversations and competitive analysis to uncover assumptions, identify constraints and find opportunities that might otherwise be missed. Before moving into design, I focus on creating alignment around what we're solving, who we're solving it for and how success will be measured.
